WE NEED YOUR HELP!  The United States Coast Guard is chartered by law to protect and preserve the Marine Environment within the waterways of the United States.  The Lower 48 States of the United States of America contains  are over 95,000 miles of coast and over 3.7 million acres of waterways and wetlands.  Even if we could somehow protect these sensitive environments alone, this is a global problem.  This site was created as an outreach program to  provide educational resources and education to so that all our citizens can assist us in this important task.
